Men’s Soccer: Four Eagles Score Six in Win at Central Georgia Tech

Four different Eagles totaled six goals, including a pair each from Jason Campbell and Ashton Karney as TBC Eagles Men's Soccer defeated Central Georgia Technical College for the second consecutive time with a 6-1 score on Saturday. The win completes the sweep of the season series between the two teams as the Eagles prepare to play their next four against NAIA competition.

In the latter portions of the first half, Campbell scored his first two goals as a TBC Eagle, both unassisted, in Minutes 35 and 36. Karney added Trinity's third goal in Minute 40 (Casey Cupit assist) and scored again in Minute 75.

Cupit and Jayden Savinon each netted a goal for the Eagles. Cupit's came unassisted just as the first half expired, and Savinon got an assist from Calvin Vicuna for Savinon's first goal of the season.

Once again, the defense held Central Georgia Tech to single-digit shots. One shot was successful, and goalkeeper Mason Lambert saved two to earn the win in a complete game in the net.

The Eagles will begin a four-game trek through the NAIA when they visit Florida College in Temple Terrace on Tuesday, September 3. On September 7, TBC visits Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina. The next two are at home against Middle Georgia State University and Webber International University on September 12 and 16, respectively.
