TCJ Eagles Men's Soccer came up short in South Region play at Pensacola Christian College on Saturday as the season begins to wind down. After a close 2-1 first half, PCC scored four times in the second on route to a 6-1 win.
Christy Kerry Jean Francois scored his third goal of the season for TCJ in Minute 37 to make the score 2-1 with the assist coming from Nicolas Ortiz. This followed PCC's Jackson Clarke scoring in Minutes 7 and 32. Pensacola Christian then got goals from four different men in the second half.
TCJ outshot PCC 17 to 15, but PCC goalkeepers Brandon Huerta and Aaron Gamonol saved 4 of the 5 shots on goal faced. TCL goalkeeper Kaiden Douglas saved 3.
The Eagles will visit NAIA Florida College at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday then close out the regular season at NCCAA Division 2 Middle Georgia State University at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31. The South Region Tournamen begins on Thursday, Novermber 6, at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina.
