TBC Eagles Women's Soccer hosted NAIA Point University for the 2024 home opener on Saturday. The defense held very strong throughout the first half, but Point broke through with two goals then added four more in the second for a 6-0 win.
Hana Lohmann (2), Olivia Torres, and Laine Ford took aim at the goal, and both Torres and Ford had shots on goal.
Goalkeeper Brandalynn Sims saved 6 of the 12 shots on goal she faced. Five different Point players scored for their team.
The Eagles' next two matches are against South Region competition, and both games will occur at Toccoa Falls College. First, TBC plays Campbellsville University Harrodsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 9, Two days later, the Eagles battle Toccoa Falls beginning at 1:00 p.m. The next home games are against NCAA Division 2 Albany State University on September 17 and NJCAA Polk State College on September 21.
